  1. To install amiCheck:
  2.  
  3. Easy as 
  4. ONE:
  5.  
  6.     First, open the GUIFront drawer, and install GUIFront
  7. by opening the Install drawer, then double-clicking
  8. on the install.IconX install script.
  9.  
  10. TWO:
  11.     Then, drag the amiCheck drawer onto your harddrive
  12. wherever you wish it.  amiCheck requires the GUIFront library
  13. to be in the LIBS: path, so if installing by hand, please
  14. do that.
  15.  
  16. THREE:
  17.     If this is the registered version, open up your 
  18. new amicheck drawer created in the last step, and rename
  19. either "amiCheck.68000" or "amicheck.68020" to "amiCheck".
  20. (If your Amiga has a 68020/030/040 or better, use the 68020 version).

  24.     Note 1: GUIFront comes with a good amigaguide file for
  25. operating its preferences program.  You might want to drag
  26. it into your amiCheck directory for reference.
  27.  
  28.     Note 2: This distribution of GUIFront does not contain
  29. the developer kit.  The entire distribution is available
  30. in many places including aminet.  Also, there is no registration
  31. fee of any kind for using GUIFront with amiCheck. It is part of 
  32. the package.

  34.     Note 3: The unregistered demo is fully functional except
  35. for a limitation of 30 transactions, and the registered version comes 
  36. in both a 68000 and 68020 version and a postscript manual.

  38.     Note 4: For installation problems, consult the guide
  39. file under installation troubleshooting.  I recommend for
  40. NTSC Hires folk to provide a bit of overscan in each direction
  41. and a small font.  This is just for starters, of course.  See
  42. the configuration descriptions (including assigning a font other
  43. than the system font) in the guide file.  Have fun!
